From April 25 to April 30, DHM Research conducted a survey of 600 voters in the Portland metro area on behalf of The Oregonian/OregonLive.

The survey sought the opinions of adults living in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties. Multnomah County residents were oversampled: 300 people took the survey, but the results were adjusted to reflect the metropolitan area picture.

The Oregonian/OregonLive commissioned the poll to better understand voters’ feelings about local elected officials and community issues, including crime, homelessness and drug use.

Respondents completed the survey via live telephone conversations, via both landlines and mobile phones, or received a text message inviting them to respond online. Respondent quotas were established based on age, gender, province, education, and race, appropriate to the adult population, and all respondents were confirmed as registered voters.

The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.0% for the Portland metro area, and 5.7% for Multnomah County. The results have been adjusted to reflect the view over the urban area.

Here’s the full data set behind the survey results, which were reported in several stories found at Oregonlive.com/oregoninsight.
